Coaching


After the end of his accomplished collegiate football career, Randy worked with NFL teams and coaching staffs including (but not limited to) the New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, and Cleveland Browns.

In 2004, Randy worked for the NFL to assist in the creation of artificial intelligence training technologies. He is credited with building the first-ever virtual reality training program for quarterbacks while working for the NFL's Cleveland Browns.

into positions as Head Coach across various different American Football teams overseas from 2010 to 2016. These teams include the Rams Milano American Football team in Milan, Italy, the Örebro Black Knights in Sweden, and the Kristiansand Gladiators in Norway.

Randy was Head Coach and team VP of FIF Super Bowl winners, the Rams Milano American Football team in Italy from 2012 to 2014. In five seasons, Randy had coached the Rams Milano Football Club into post-season playoff appearances four times. The Rams appeared in four FIF Italian League Championships, winning Super Bowls 33 and 35. During the 2014 season, in just the first four games under his leadership, the Rams offense amassed a scoring total of 233 points, averaging over 50 points per game. The Rams Defense held opponents scoreless in 2 of 4 games and scored 26 points from turn-overs.

Randy continued his coaching career

in Europe as Head Coach of the Norwegian Men’s Division 1 Champions, Football Kristiansand Gladiators in 2014. He also briefly served as a Defensive Coordinator for the USA Eagles Men’s National Football team in 2014 vs the French National Team.

From there, Randy became Head Coach of the Örebro Black Knights of the Swedish American Football Association, guiding the team into the 2015 Superserien Championship Final, Super Bowl XXX, against the Carlstad Crusaders at the conclusion of the 2015 Season. The Black Knights finished the season ranked 12th in Europe's Top 20 American Football Teams across Europe and the Americas.

Randy also was a Defensive Coordinator for the Seamen Milano, in Milan, Italy. The Seamen Milano were winners of the 2017 Italian Bowl.
